Matthew Beswsick
Product Manager
Matthew is our expert in all things product related. Connecting all disciplines within our delivery teams, he brings together design, development, testing, architecture and business analysis to ensure the team is focused on building the right thing, the right way at the right time.
With a background that spans business relationship management, user research and business analysis, Matthew brings a deep understanding of how services are shaped and the importance of aligning digital goals with real user needs. His job is to steer the vision, roadmap, and backlog.
Day-to-day, he works closely with stakeholders to understand internal user needs and ensure what’s being built supports the overarching business strategy. He also manages governance and approval processes and guides teams through the service delivery lifecycle.

Projects worked on
Before joining, Matthew led service assessments across government, helping some of the largest software services meet the GDS Service Standard. He's also trained over 100 civil servants in Agile delivery along the way, putting him at a huge advantage in ensuring our own agile delivery services are well executed.
Matthew is in this for the social value, and enjoys the challenge of working on services that make a real difference. Some of the programmes he's worked on at Talent Consulting include the Apprenticeships Service platform and its £4bn-a-year payments engine.
