Senior business analyst working in a multidisciplinary team working on:
ECF Alpha – Actively contributed to the project's success by collaborating within a dynamic multidisciplinary team to develop an assessment framework and corresponding programme for newly qualified children and family social workers. My engagement with the service designer and technical architect was instrumental in aligning project objectives and ensuring a holistic approach. One of my primary responsibilities involved crafting comprehensive process flows tailored to the diverse activities undertaken by newly qualified social workers during their Early Career Framework. These process flows served as a foundational guide for the project's development. Additionally, I conducted extensive desk research, exploring potential services that could enhance social workers' ability to complete assessments effectively.
Family Hubs private beta – I helped synthesize the data obtained from various local authorities, this data was for a National Service Directory to help people find local services and for professionals (from Local Authorities/Voluntary Community Services) to refer members of the public to community services for which they are eligible in their area. Also collaborated with content designers and interaction designers to understand different facets of the service thoroughly. Leveraging this knowledge, I meticulously crafted user stories and acceptance criteria, facilitating seamless communication with developers and ensuring alignment with project objectives. Additionally, my responsibilities extended to working closely with multiple local authorities, guiding and supporting them in completing their data protection impact assessment forms. This not only ensured compliance but also paved the way for the effective utilization of our service.
Public Sector Experience:
Worked as a consultant on short term projects within both Department for Work and Pensions and the Ministry of Justice.
Seamlessly navigated dual roles at DWP as a Business Analyst and Service Continuity Analyst during a transformative project that consolidated six distinct means-tested benefits and tax credits systems into the Universal Credit payment system.
Tasked with risk management to safeguard DWP IT services, collaborated with external teams to maintain minimum agreed Service Levels. Beyond risk management, skilfully translated high-level business and technical requirements into manageable KPIs through in-depth analysis alongside the Technical Delivery Manager and Product Owner. This strategic approach ensured effective prioritisation of requirements, keeping the project well within defined scope parameters
